At Penn State's student newspaper, we made a point to cover social and controversial topics. Some of those, including rape statistics, were difficult to represent in graphics. With this design we decided to devote the entire front page to emphasizing the White House statistic that one in five women will be sexually assaulted in her lifetime. The print graphics were also designed for web presentation including a motion graphic.
